The die-cutting methods of carton die cutter are generally divided into hard cutting method and soft cutting method. Hard cutting method refers to the hard contact between the knife and the surface of the pressure roller during die cutting, so the die-cutting knife is easy to wear. Soft cutting method is to cover a layer of engineering plastic on the surface of the pressure roller. During die cutting, the cutter can have a certain amount of cutting, which can protect the cutter and ensure complete cutting, but the plastic layer needs to be replaced regularly. Since the roller of this machine rotates continuously when it is working, its production efficiency is the highest among all types of die-cutting machines. However, the die-cutting plate needs to be bent into a curved surface, which is more troublesome and costly to make, and has certain technical difficulties. Therefore, this machine is often used for mass production.

At present, most of our carton die cutter integrate printing, slotting, die-cutting and other functions into one piece, so this machine consists of several main parts, namely, paper feeding section, printing section, slotting section, die-cutting section and stacking and transportation section.
The paper feeding section intermittently inputs the cardboard into the printing section, which can be conveniently and accurately adjusted according to different sizes and types of cardboard. The printing part can be composed of one to six-color printing units, usually using flexographic printing. Some of our machines with more advanced printing functions can be equipped with infrared drying systems to prevent the ink from drying and damaging the printing effect.
The slotting part uses a slotting knife to cut off the excess cardboard along the designed pattern on the surface of the cardboard to form a groove line, so that the cardboard can be folded into a three-dimensional corner along the groove line, which is used for subsequent folding into the common carton shape in our daily life. This process not only makes the carton have clear edges and corners, but also makes the appearance simple and beautiful, and can also reduce the rebound force of the cardboard, making the carton not easy to deform.
The working principle of the die-cutting part is the principle of round-to-round die-cutting. The die-cutting part of the Carton die cutter is an upper and lower roller, both of which are cylindrical. When working, the paper feed roller sends the cardboard between the template roller and the pressure roller, and the two clamp it to die-cut the roller. The die-cutting plate roller rotates one circle to complete a product die-cutting cycle. It can be equipped with a waste removal device to automatically remove the scraps generated after die-cutting.
The stacking and transportation part uses a vibrating stacking machine to collect and send out the products after the printing, slotting and die-cutting process, so as to ensure that the finished products can be smoothly collected under the condition of high-speed continuous operation.
